Dukes Cambridge Summer School offers an exceptional pre-university experience in the heart of Cambridge — one of the world’s most renowned academic cities. Designed for ambitious students aged 14–17, the programme blends rigorous academic study with hands-on exploration, giving learners a unique opportunity to dive deep into future university pathways while experiencing Cambridge’s rich cultural and intellectual heritage.
As part of Summer Boarding Courses (SBC) — a Dukes Education school and the top-ranked multi-campus summer school in the UK — the programme is shaped by world-class educational standards and recognised by the British Council for excellence across all areas. Each year, SBC welcomes over 1,800 students from more than 100 nationalities, creating an inspiring multicultural community where young people develop confidence, communication skills, and a global mindset.
At Dukes Cambridge, students follow the College Pathways framework, choosing from specialised faculties such as Business, Medicine, Psychology, STEM, Art & Design, and English Pathways. Lessons combine university-style seminars, practical workshops, real-world case studies, and collaborative project work, helping students strengthen critical thinking, creativity, and subject-specific insight. With 20–25 hours of tuition per week, learners gain a realistic taste of undergraduate-level study.
Beyond academics, the programme includes exciting excursions across Cambridge and London, cultural immersion activities, industry experience workshops, and evening events that build friendships and social confidence. Based across reputable Dukes Education campuses and accommodated at Tripos Court, students benefit from a safe, supportive, and modern environment — an ideal setting to focus on academic growth, independence, and future aspirations.
