Founded in 1382 by Bishop William of Wykeham, Winchester College is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious full‑boarding schools for boys aged 13–18. Academic Excellence & Div Curriculum
Winchester achieves excellent academic success: in 2023, 79.6% of A‑Level grades were A–A* and 88.4% of GCSE results were graded 7+ (50.5% at grade 9). The unique Div programme—an in‑house seminar on history, literature, philosophy—develops critical thinking and debate. Around 17% of leavers achieve Oxbridge offers, and many access top global universities including Harvard, Columbia, and MIT.
Boarding & Pastoral Care

Extensive Co-curricular Programme
