Camp Dragon Oxford, hosted at the prestigious Dragon School, offers a warm, inspiring, and fully supported summer experience for young learners aged 8–12. Part of Summer Boarding Courses (SBC) — a Dukes Education school and the top-ranked multi-campus summer school in the UK — the programme combines high-quality academic learning with a nurturing environment designed specifically for younger students experiencing time away from home for the first time.

At Camp Dragon, learning happens through exploration and hands-on discovery. The Young Explorers programme blends English, Maths, Science, Art, and History with creative projects and practical activities. Each week is structured around four engaging stages — Discover, Develop, Dare, and Showtime — helping students grow academically and personally while having fun. Children learn to take on challenges, try new things, embrace mistakes, and share their curiosity with others.

The Young Explorers programme integrates English, Maths, Science, Art & Design, and History through practical, creative, and project-based learning. Students build functional English skills while developing confidence, teamwork, and curiosity.

Camp Dragon takes place in Oxford, one of the world’s most renowned academic cities. The Dragon School campus is located in a leafy and secure residential area just a short distance from Oxford’s historic centre and university colleges.

Each house is supervised around the clock by dedicated House Parents and pastoral staff, providing continuous care, emotional support, and a family-like atmosphere.

Meals are served in the school’s dining hall and include a generous selection of freshly prepared, nutritious dishes.
