Founded in 1858 by Canon Nathaniel Woodard, Ardingly College began as St Saviour’s School with a mission to educate children of “small farmers, tradesmen and mechanics” within an Anglican Christian framework. Today, it has grown into a dynamic co-educational boarding and day school, serving over 1,050 pupils aged 2–18, with the Senior School comprising around 600 students and approximately half living on campus.
